I like the wormy ones
I’ll eat the ugly ones
I like an apple that don’t look good on the shelf

I like the wormy ones, the apples on the ground
Yeah I like the ugly fruit

Cause that’s the way they looked a hundred years ago
Before the people started worrying about the look of the fruit
Before the pesticides and all the herbicides
And all the good kinds of poison
WHAT’S A GOOD KIND OF POISON??
There’s No good kind of poison!!

I like the ugly ones with spots and nicks
Ugly apples they just taste so good
Gimme a wormy one, I’ll eat around the worm
That’s how I know the apple’s good for me

Without the pesticides and the herbicides
And all the good kinds of poison
WHAT’S A GOOD KIND OF POISON??
There’s NO good kinds of poison!!!
